Recording an observation and a photo

Scouting notes are the field's memory. Every observation you write enters the AI's next answer — a sentence like “a pest was recorded in this field last week” comes from exactly here. The “Work” group gathers fertiliser, photos and scouting in one place.

Where: Field → Work → “Scouting”

   Open the “Scouting” section

   Open the field and go to “Scouting” from the “Work” group. The new-note form is at the top, the list of earlier notes below it.

   Screen: “Category”, “Severity (1-5)”, “Note”, “Colour” fields, with the list of notes below.

   Write down what you saw

   Pick a category — pest, disease, weed, nutrient deficiency, water stress, damage — rate the severity from 1 to 5 and write briefly what you saw. You can also give the note a colour; the list shows that colour next to every note.

   Add the spot and the photo

   Standing on the spot in the field, press “Add current location” — your phone's GPS writes the coordinate into the note. Attach the photo of the suspect leaf from the same form: the AI reads the trace of a disease or a pest.

   Close the note when the work is done

   When the problem is solved, open the note and choose “Mark as resolved”. The number of open notes is shown at the top of the list, and resolved ones appear only when “Show resolved” is ticked.
